Former Interim Criminal Justice Department Chair Dr. Michael Dalecki was instrumental in the retaliation against Dr. Burton.

Below is an audio recording of a meeting where Dalecki ordered a graduate student to see him because the graduate student had told Dr. Burton of Provost Den Herder's "Gag-Order" against Burton. The graduate student expected to be treated badly, so he secretly recorded the meeting, as allowed by Wisconsin law. Dalecki warned the student not communicate with Burton. This was part of the administration's plan to isolate Burton from any support.

Please make comments below as to whether you consider Dalecki to be "threatening" as we believe, or whether he was just being a good department chair offering valuable "counseling" to one of his students, as the university claimed.
